Zines

Gender Noncompliant Zine

Released in the summer of 2024, Gender Noncompliant was my first venture back into zines in over 20 years. The poems here all focus on coming out as nonbinary, bisexual, and polyamorous in my late 40s. The poems are all placed over top of my own art and photography.

Mooood board #1:
Sadness & Madness

The first of a set of three simultaneously released mini-zines from late 2024. The poems here deal with the particular emotions noted in the title. The poems are backed by my photography.

Mooood board #2: Realizations & Affirmations

The second of the three Mooood board mini-zines, this time focusing on happier themes. Once again, all poems backed by my photography with some guest art from my then 7-year-old.

Mooood board #3: Thoughts & Other Absurdities

The final Mooood board of the mini-zine set. This one is silly and perhaps a bit weird. There are poems and random phrases, all once more backed by my art and photography.

The spores speak through me: An impromptu zine

I had some recreational fun over spring break in 2024. Decided to document my thoughts through poetry and photography. Take a peek into my mind!

Archaeology and the Body: A Zine for Workers

Free zine put together by Allison Mickel and Travis Corwin for the 2025 meeting of the Theoretical Archaeology Group (TAG), North America, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Amongst a whole bunch of other awesome things, I have a poem called “Keeping Up with the Jones’s” in it. Download it for free using the link below!
