Prosaic blossomings

A bouquet of paper flowers (tulips, irises, and lilies) in pastel green, pink, yellow, and blue, all with green stems and words typed on them, rests in a cream colored vase with paper roses of the same colors and a poem glued to it. The poem reads: Prosaic blossomings The blooms spring forth from our breath our script our selves. We gather them in every utterance every scribble every note. They bundle together in a myriad of ways all depending on the needs and context of the moment. Their beauty transcends their form. Their existence is beauty enough.
