A more gentle revolution

Three clocks, arranged vertically on a black background. Top clock. Set to 12:00. Numbers and full background covered in black with a tangle of rope over it. Middle clock. Time active. Numbers and full background covered in rainbow color motif spreading from the center. Poem to be read clockwise. Title on the hour hand. Poem reads: A more gentle revolution We’re spun violently in place in this centrifuge of spite by those so caught up in themselves, they have lost all concept of others. And so we’re pulled apart in their acquisitive grasp, moulding ourselves to their choking undulations, living by their rules simply for a gasp of air. Any attempts to unravel ourselves, to fray their fraught creation, are tangled too tightly, woven into its very fabric, and can only be released with force. We are left with little choice and it’s revolting. But we have to break the cycle. Warp it. Bend it. Shatter it. Then knead it softly into a shape that brings comfort to those that never had any. A more gentle revolution is something worth fighting for. Bottom clock. Time set to 12:10. Sparkly pale blue background with dried flowers covering it.
